Sandra Brekke

Administrative Support Coordinator

Sandra Brekke was born here in Humboldt County and had many friends and family here. She graduated from Sacramento State with a Bachelors in Psychology and then went overseas for a couple years to teach English and travel around a bit. After that, she moved to the Midwest taking a job with the Children's Clothing manufacturer, Oshkosh B'Gosh. After leaving Oshkosh B'Gosh, she moved to Madison Wisconsin and finished up an MBA degree at the University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh. While living in the beautiful city of Madison, she worked at the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation and the Morgridge Institute for Research. She loved living in the Midwest and will always have a home there, but two years ago she moved back to Humboldt to enjoy time with family and explore all the wonderful things that make up Humboldt.

She enjoys working in the Dean's Office and in her free time, she spends time with her two cats, Bouncy McFuffypuff and Lumen. Both cats made the airline trip from the Midwest so they are California cats now! She also enjoys painting and listening to live music.
