Brec Ronis

Interim Budget Analyst

Before moving to Humboldt with her husband, Brec Ronis worked in the public school district office in Craig, Colorado. She started in the library at a local elementary school, then moved to the main office in a secretarial position and then was promoted to the District office as their Database and Reporting Specialist. 

She graduated with an Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting from the Denver Institute of Technology. 

Ronis has held many positions at Cal poly Humboldt. Her career at the school began in ITS and then ASC in theater Arts before she was recruited by the Art Department in 2017 as their coordinator.

Ronis has two main focuses at the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. She is the budget analyst for the college and the ASC for Art + Film.  Her main focus is budgeting and scheduling. She is the “fixer” of the Art + Film Department.

Ronis comes from a family of artists, so it is no wonder she found her home in the college. 

Outside of the school, she enjoys working in her big garden and hobby farm. She likes audio books and being a grandmother.
