ADPIMENA Asian, Desi, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern, and North African Center
About Us
The Asian, Desi, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern, and North African Center seeks to enhance the overall Asian American Experience at Humboldt by celebrating and embracing the diverse ADPIMENA cultures through events, workshops, seminars. The Collective challenges perspectives and narratives of self and the various institutions/systems that continue to oppress people today. Our ultimate goal is to establish a Center for Academic Excellence for Asian, Desi, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern, and North African Students.
Mission
The purpose of the Asian, Desi & Pacific Islander Collective is to bring together the A.D.P.I community and the Cal Poly Humboldt community. We wish to celebrate cultural identities and to enhance education by sharing cultural knowledge. ADPIC will be a pillar for all students and staff seeking friendship, mentorship, educational opportunities, social understandings, and cultural history.
