Important Dates & Deadlines Fall 2023 First-Time First-Year Applicants

Very Important Reminders

  • You must meet all admission requirements, by the deadlines listed, or your admission will be denied.
  • Regularly log into myHumboldt and check your To Do List to see any additional documents or actions required.
  • Humboldt uses email as the official form of communication. It is your responsibility to read all emails from Cal Poly Humboldt. If you ever need to update your information with the university, you may do so in the Personal Information Update form on your Applicant Status Page.
  • You will not be allowed to “make up” coursework for any deficiencies during the summer. For example, if you get a ‘D” in English (or any other required course) in your senior year, and you no longer meet the minimum requirement for that subject area, we may deny your admission.
  • Many applicants are provisionally admitted on the basis of self-reported courses, grades, and test scores. If your final official transcripts and test scores show that you do not meet the requirements for admission, your admission will be denied. If you know you will not meet all of your admission requirements, contact us as soon as possible to discuss your options.
  • Students are required to provide immunization records before attending Cal Poly Humboldt: wellbeing.humboldt.edu/immunizations
  • At this time no majors are considered impacted (high applicant interest) for first year students. This is subject to change and supplemental criteria will be used for any majors that become impacted in the future.
  • Cal Poly Humboldt continues to adapt and respond to the changing needs of the COVID-19 pandemic. For COVID-19 protocol updates visit campusready.humboldt.edu
