Colleges & Departments
At the heart of our academics are Cal Poly Humboldt's three colleges — College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences; College of Natural Resource & Sciences; and College of Professional Studies. Each represents the strengths and breadth of our highly-regarded programs: a rigorous curriculum that focuses on social and environmental issues that are relevant today. A cornerstone of our curriculum is hands-on learning. From service learning projects in the local community and abroad, and collecting water samples from the Klamath River, to curating and managing campus art galleries, that practical experience prepares students for a career, graduate school, or whatever they decide to do in life.
