High School Scholars Program
Cal Poly Humboldt is excited to welcome local high school juniors and seniors from Humboldt and Del Norte counties to the High School Scholars (HSS) Program. Through concurrent enrollment (open dual enrollment), eligible students can begin their college journey while still in high school by taking university courses taught by Cal Poly Humboldt faculty, either on campus or online.
The High School Scholars Program is designed to promote early college success, build academic confidence, and support a smooth transition to higher education. By enrolling in available seats in lower-division (courses numbered 100-299) university courses across a variety of disciplines, students can earn transferable college credit, explore academic interests, and make meaningful progress toward their future educational goals.
