The Institute for Teaching and Learning at the Office of the Chancellor
earlier announced the webinar, "From 'Student' to 'Informed Consumer' of
Learning," on February 7, noon to 1:00 p.m. The webinar presented by Ed
Nuhfer of Humboldt State University and Karl Wirth of Macalester College
stresses the role of metacognition in student success. 

Information on the webinar and materials for participants are now available from

the webinar are eligible for minigrants to support implementation of
concepts and instruments addressed in this webinar. Participants should
