A Watershed Year in STEM Education ~ December 12

Please join for a very special presentation regarding STEM Education and the California State University (CSU) system on Friday, December 12, from 3:00-3:50 pm in BSS 204.

Guest speakers will be Jeremy Qualls, Sonoma State University, Department of Physics and Martha Shott, Sonoma State University, Department of Mathematics to present their talk titled: A Watershed Year in STEM Education.

Sonoma State University has pioneered a number of NSF supported strategies to increase the number of students obtaining STEM degrees. Each will discuss they types of strategies used, what has worked and what failed. A detailed flier is attached to this annoucement.
