Re: Timing for HSU Budget for 2018-19

I am writing to let you know that I will not be releasing a finalized budget on March 29, as I had originally intended. Instead, I expect to complete the 2018-19 budget next week, which will still provide time for divisions, departments, and programs to incorporate the information into their planning for the coming year.

I apologize for the delay; I know that you appreciate the time needed to evaluate the available data and make the best decisions possible. The feedback from URPC has provided valuable perspective to be considered. In addition, the WASC Senior College and University Commission visiting team offered comments and feedback related to our budget, and our students provided a great deal of important input at the Associated Students budget forum on Monday.
