Here are just a few of the topics you can learn more about in the Canvas Project Team’s weekly in-person and online workshops for faculty:

• Assessment and Evaluation of Student Learning

At these training sessions, as well as in remote workshops, you will learn how to use Canvas to expand instructional impact and engage students in a dynamic learning process to increase student success. You can also watch a useful demonstration of Collaboration in Canvas by HSU's Dr. Christine Dobrowolski and read what HSU early adopters of Canvas are saying.

Faculty have been enrolled into their Summer courses as of March 15 and will be enrolled into Fall 2017 courses on April 3. After these enrollment dates, check your dashboard for your courses (and remember, the list of courses is based on your assigned instructor schedule in PeopleSoft for the applicable term; this information is updated in Canvas at 6 am and 1 pm daily). If you have questions about your instructor schedule, check out your Faculty Center; you can also see your class rosters here, once students are officially enrolled.

And talking of students, why not join the students' Canvas Pizza Party on Thursday March 23 from noon until 2:00pmin the HSU Scholars' Lab on the third floor of the Library? Everyone's going to be using Canvas come August, so let's all learn together!
