Sequoia Park Zoo Free Conservation Lectures

November 10, 2014
The Sequoia Park Zoo Conservation Lecture Series is starting up again this week.  Talks will be held the second Wednesday of each month November through March.  Talks start at 7:00 pm and take place in the Zoo classroom, with a reception starting at 6:30 pm.
The first lecture will be about the Restoration of the Salt River Ecosystem, presented by Doreen Hansen of the Humboldt County Resource Conservation District.  She will tell the story of a bold effort near Ferndale to restore an essential tidal marsh for coho, goby, chinook and marine species.
Please see attached flyer for additional information on this and future lectures.
