Sequoia Park Zoo Conservation Lecture ~ December 13

December 11, 2017
Hello Friends, Colleagues, Students and Community Members,
FREE December Conservation Lecture at Sequoia Park Zoo

The Sequoia Park Zoo Conservation Lecture Series continues on December 13, 2017 with local artist and Explorers Club Fellow Susan Fox presenting “Art and Conservation in the Land of Blue Skies”. Observing her subjects in their natural habitat is a critical aspect of her creative process. Susan’s lecture will include her field journals, location paintings, and studio works. Much of her art is inspired by her contributions to conservation research on endangered and threatened species in Mongolia.

Reception to meet the artist at 6:30 PM.
The lecture to follow at 7:00 PM in the Zoo’s Flamingo Room.
