Announcing a training opportunity related to the OBI/DARS tool, which is extremely useful for advising and course planning. The training will provide background on DARS data and cover the use of the OBI DARS dashboards for reporting and analysis.

DARS is an acronym for a program called the Degree Audit Reporting System. By comparing the college catalog degree requirements to the courses a student has completed, DARS tells students and advisors which requirements have been met, which are still outstanding, and the courses that will meet those requirements.
OBI is a comprehensive business intelligence platform that delivers a full range of analytic and reporting capabilities. DARS dashboards have been created in OBI that gather DARS data and present the data in a more readable/useful format for further analysis/reporting. The dashboards are DARS Course Demand, DARS Overview and DARS Requirements Needed.
