The PeopleSoft Split/Upgrade is Complete! Welcome to the New PeopleSoft Split World

Effective March 26, PeopleSoft HR and PeopleSoft CS are now functioning as two separate systems and exchanging data where appropriate.  

As we mentioned in previous correspondence and remind you here, this is how the user experience has changed:

  • PeopleSoft HR is accessible through the new HR Center button in the top banner on myHumboldt for all employees, including student workers. 
  • The PeopleSoft pagelet on myHumboldt now provides links to the new CS system, the new HR system, CFS, and the two current links to Report and View Absences and View Current Paycheck. Please don't forget to add the new pagelet back to your portal Home tab by clicking the + sign in the upper right corner of that pagelet. 
  • All the links in your My Profile pagelet on myHumboldt connect to either the HR or CS side depending on where the data resides. 
  • You will need to replace all your PeopleSoft HCM bookmarks with the new links to HR and CS. If you normally access CS (aka "the student side) via your Student Center or Faculty Center button in myHumboldt then continue that process. But if you've ever bookmarked that path in your browser(s), you will want to delete those and replace them with the new URLs/links to the 2 new systems. Easiest access? Visit myHumboldt!
  • You will need to change any references or links to PeopleSoft HCM on your department websites and forms.
  • The HR system looks exactly like it did last week before completion of the split and contains all the same HR modules (Workforce Administration, Benefits, Compensation, etc). 
    -- Self-service bonus: you can update Veteran or Disability status and your Emergency Contacts yourself. 
  • The CS system menu shows slightly different background colors and contains all the same CS modules (Admissions, Campus Community, Curriculum Management, etc). Want to change the look of your CS menu? Go to Personalize Content or Layout in the top right-hand corner of your screen to make changes. 
    -- Remember, labels may change slightly - for example, Billing instead of Bill. 
    -- Self-service bonus: you can update your Name, Address, Phone Numbers and Emergency Contacts through the direct portal pagelet links. You can also pay for a parking permit or other employee fees via Campus Finances.
