Lingering Voicemail Issue

While the upgraded voicemail system is now working well for most people on campus, a single lingering issue continues to affect a few people. Unfortunately, we're not able to identify who's affected, so ITS would greatly appreciate it if those of you who have not used your voicemail in a while could please check that everything is working as you would expect it to.

Specifically, we would like you to check the following:

  • If you have a digital phone (with a display), press the Voicemail key. Is the display showing 5999 as the number being dialed?
  • If you have an analog phone (no display window), are you getting a message waiting indicator and finding there are no messages waiting?

If either of these situations is true for you, your voicemail is not functioning correctly. Please call the Technology Help Desk at x4357 and we'll get it fixed right away.
