ITS has been able to stabilize the campus voicemail system to the point where the message waiting process works correctly for a couple of hours, and then stops working for another couple of hours. While we recognize this is not a long-term solution, it is an improvement over where we were a few days ago, and we are hoping that additional database work this weekend will further improve things. 

If you are expecting an urgent call, we recommend you include your cellphone number and/or email address in your voicemail greeting so that callers can reach you quickly if they need to. If you leave someone a voicemail message, you might want to send the same information via email, too.

We are also making progress towards a full upgrade of the voicemail system and will keep the campus posted as to when this will take place.
