Dear HSU Employee,

The deadline to renew Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) permits is rapidly approaching.

Recipients whose DACA permit expires on or before March 5, 2018, are eligible to apply for renewal status, but applications must be received by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services by no later than Thursday, October 5.

The renewal fee is $495 and the Mission Asset Fund is providing 5,000 Dreamers with scholarships to renew their DACA permit. Scholarships to cover renewal costs are still available, but to ensure that there is enough time for the Fund to process, applications for scholarships must be received by Friday, September 29.
