This week, ITS completed the final phase of the project to replace the border firewalls that form the backbone of campus information security. The new firewalls are configured to detect and block the latest types of threats, including state-of-the-art anti-malware and filtering for "bad-guy" URLs. We will continue to monitor these settings on a regular basis to ensure they are still doing the best possible job to protect the data under our care.
