This event has unfortunately been canceled, but will be rescheduled.The event was previously scheduled for tonight, 6:30 pm, in Native American Forum. The Department of Native American Studies will be hosting Dr. Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz as part of the Native Pathways Speaker Series. Dr. Dunbar-Ortiz is an American historian, writer and feminist. She has been part of the American Indian Movement (AIM) the International Indian Treaty Council and has a lifelong commitment to international human rights. She will discuss her book "An Indigenous Peoples' History of the United States”. Dr. Dunbar-Ortiz received her doctorate in history from the University of California, Los Angeles.
