Media Distribution makes equipment available for faculty and student use free of charge for the classroom environment. Equipment is also available for rental purposes to the community and for special events. Priority is given to classroom academic use and could result in rental cancellations.
Normally most equipment is checked out on a 24 hour basis, however some equipment varies. Additionally, equipment checked out after 3:00 pm on Friday is not due back until 8:00 am on Monday.
Under state law, clients using state owned Media Distribution equipment are responsible for its full value and must protect items from theft, loss, or damage. All equipment must be returned as scheduled. Financial responsibility for the replacement or repair in case of negligent damage or loss lies with the rental client.
Unique uses of IMS services and/or equipment will require special pricing to be set by the Manager of Media Distribution.
