Center Activities
At HSU we are fortunate to have one of the largest, most comprehensive university recreational activity programs available. Center Activities is a non-profit organization that provides outdoor and social experiences emphasizing adventure, environmental awareness, education, challenge, personal development, safety, a sense of community and fun.
Through their Outdoor Adventure, Leisure Activity and Aquatic Programs, Center Activities provides courses to suit all ability, age, and interest levels. Their knowledgeable and friendly staff can lead you through non-intimidating introductory classes or highly technical seminars in areas such as:
- Aquatics like sea-kayaking, surfing, and white water rafting
- Leisure classes such as music, cooking or dance
- Outdoor adventures that include backpacking, fly-fishing, and rock-climbing
