Located in Humboldt State University's Learning Commons, The University Writing Center is staffed with friendly, professional Writing Consultants who can help HSU students with any of their writing needs.  To find us during daytime hours, enter through the Learning Commons' main, outside entrance; you can also enter through the first floor of the Library and "come on down" using the main, interior staircase.  During evening hours, the Writing Center is accessibly only through the Library.

Stop by the University Writing Center (UWC) in Library 32 during open Writing Center hours or in the Learning Commons Reception area (Lower Level Library) during closed hours to sign up for an appointment. Appointments also may be made by calling 826-5946 during open hours. Drop-ins are welcome on a space-available basis.

Fall 2009 Writing Center Hours
Monday through Thursday: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Monday through Thursday: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Friday: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
