University staff may access HSU student information in a variety of ways:

Data on the Web

A great deal of summary information about enrollment and admissions is available on the Web.  Start at www.humboldt.edu/~anstud to find it.  

Packaged Reports

Many previously requested reports may be produced through Banner using the GJAPCTL form.  See www.humboldt.edu/~oaa/banner/reports.html for more information about them.

New or Modified Reports

Requests may be submitted via the Web form at www.humboldt.edu/~enroll/datarequest.   Whenever possible, please submit your request well before you need the information.

Prospective Student Communication Services

Several services exist to help departments contact prospective students.  DEMJOBS allows a department to send personalized email.  DERJOBS provides data files suitable for mail merge. TELE-FACULTY supplies personalized call sheets to facilitate phone calls.  Requests for these services should be sent to the Office of Admissions Communications Coordinator at complan@redwood.humboldt.edu.

Regulatory Compliance

HSU complies with the requirements of the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) that prohibits the release of student specific information for purposes other than legitimate educational interest; FERPA also prohibits the re-release of information to a third party.  (See Student Records Access Policy for details.)
