Many donors look forward to making their charitable contributions during the last few weeks of the year. In order to be deductible for 2013 income taxes, contributions must be completed by midnight on December 31.

 

On-line: Contributions can be made via the HSU Web through December 31. Donors can go to http://humboldt.edu/giving/ and click the “Give Now” button to navigate to the on-line giving portal where they can make a contribution with a credit card.

 

By Mail: Checks should be made payable to the Humboldt State University Foundation and postmarked by December 31, 2013. The mailing address is: HSU Gift Processing Center, 1 Harpst Street, Arcata, CA 95521.

 

Gifts of securities and other assets require special handling. Donors should contact a member of the Development Office staff.

 

Although the campus is closed during the last week of the year, Development Office staff will be monitoring voice mail and e-mail to help donors with their last minute contributions.
