CSU Biotechnology Program - RFP

November 18, 2013

CSUPERB plans to support up to 11 undergraduate biotechnology-related research experiences during the 2014 summer.

The Presidents' Commission Scholars program will make $8000 grants to CSU student/faculty teams. Up to $2000 of the budget is available for supplies, equipment and travel; the remainder of the budget is in the form of a scholarship for students' academic and living expenses.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) is now open; see RFP for complete information, review criteria and eligibility requirements at: http://www.calstate.edu/csuperb/grants/presidents-commission/

Presidents' Commission Scholar proposals are due Wednesday, February 12, 2014. The review and award notification processes will be completed by early April, 2014, so that students and faculty can make plans for the summer term.

Please forward this announcement to all CSU faculty and students involved or interested in biotechnology-related laboratory, field, clinical or community-based research on your campus. CSUPERB welcomes and encourages applications from all related disciplines, including but not limited to life, physical, clinical, agricultural and computer sciences, engineering, math and entrepreneurship/business.
