Parking where you desire may be difficult at times. Please plan ahead and allow sufficient time to locate a stall and walk from where you park. Parking is on a "first come, first serve" basis. The possession of a parking permit does not guarantee that a space will be available. Most of the areas on campus where vehicles may legally be parked are designated by posted signs as to the type of permit required. Vehicles must be completely contained in a marked stall, except on unmarked streets.
All regulations are in effect 24 hours a day, every day of the year. This includes the following restricted zones which are enforced AT ALL TIMES:
BLACK & WHITE: Service Vehicles
BLUE: Disabled persons with disabled plates or placard
YELLOW: Loading/unloading, up to marked time limit
WHITE: Passenger loading or mail drop
Parking meters and permit requirements are in effect Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. year-round, regardless of school being in session or not.
A Resident Student permit is required at all times except Friday after 5 p.m., or all day Saturday and Sunday.
Staff permits are required in Staff lots. General permits are valid in Staff lots after 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. After 5 p.m. on Friday a permit is not required.
Additional parking rules and regulations can also be found in the University Code of Rules and Regulations.Skip to Navigation
