Getting Help with Publicity and Advertising

There are several ways for campus groups to publicize their events at HSU, including posters, flyers, utilizing the campus radio stations and the student newspaper or joining efforts with one of the hundreds of student-run clubs on campus.

Submit Your Event to Humboldt State Events

Humboldt State Events, the campus' events calendar, is a comprehensive list of campus activities.

To submit an event, visit http://humboldt.edu/events/manager and follow the on-screen instructions.

University Notices

University Notices are delivered every week to all campus email addresses. To learn more about submitting your news item or event, click on: http://www.humboldt.edu/its/unotices

Posters & Flyers

Most campus buildings have at least one general bulletin board on which flyers can be posted. A list of these boards is available from the UC Information Desk.

Flyers and posters must be approved and stamped by the UC Info Desk prior to posting; otherwise, they will be removed!

KHSU & KRFH - Campus Radio Stations

Contact KHSU-FM about underwriting or featuring your public service announcement (PSA) on the air.

Contact KRFH, the campus's student-run radio station, about advertising or featuring your PSA on the air.

Clubs & Student Groups

If you are a member of a student club you have access several on-campus publicity options, including posters, staked flyers, quad banners and more.
