(ITS Staff only)
Microsoft Office is the industry-standard productivity software package for general office use. CSU has a system-wide license for this software, so staff and faculty, as well as auxiliary organizations, can use the software freely on HSU-owned equipment. Students and faculty may purchase the software for use on personally-owned devices at discounted prices through the HSU Bookstore; eligible staff and faculty may also purchase Microsoft Work At Home from the bookstore. Microsoft Office 365, the online version of the suite, is available to students, staff, and faculty at a special price direct from Microsoft.
Microsoft Office runs on all currently-supported versions of Windows and Mac OS X.
ITS does not provide support for Microsoft Office. Please contact the vendor for assistance with the software.
Details of the contract terms are available on the CSU website.
Microsoft Work At Home software licenses are limited to one per eligible employee; students, student assistances, are not licensed to use the Work At Home software.
The Microsoft Office software can also be downloaded by ITCs. License keys are stored on the Microsoft License Server; contact the Technology Help Desk or your ITC for assistance with license keys for Microsoft Office.
