Site-Licensed Software

Description

HSU makes a number of software applications available across campus, both for instructional and administrative purposes.

  • Google Apps email, collaboration, and communication software is licensed from Google
  • Campus administration and business intelligence software is licensed from Oracle
  • Antivirus software is licensed from Sophos for on-campus and personal use
  • Smart Classrooms and Labs are equipped with a wide range of Windows and Macintosh software applications, some of which may also be installed and run separately

System Configuration

Site-licensed software at HSU is available for Windows as standard; certain applications may also be available for Mac and/or Linux.

Accessing This Service

To learn where individual applications are installed on campus, go to the Labs Software List and search the the application. A small number of programs are also available in the HSU Virtual Lab.

Some campus-wide licensed software can also be downloaded from the HSU ITS software download page.
