They would not have been able to print to one printer in the lab during this time.
Workaround: 
Print to another printer in the lab (if available)
What happened: 
We were notified at 8:20 that some labs were unable to print. Services on three servers were in a 'stopped' state. The services were restarted. Logs indicate that the hosts were unable to connect to the database server and a timeout was issued, which stopped the services. All three servers are on the same VM host. Other systems on that host may have used up all available resources. We will be moving these servers to another VM Host.
