The Desktop Support Working Group (DSWG) provides input to the Humboldt State University IT Council on all issues relating to desktop computers and their use within HSU facilities.

The DSWG is specifically tasked to:

• Identify problems related to desktop computer support across campus
• Present the council with proposals to promote the effecitve use of desktop computers by students, faculty, and staff within the context of HSU's Appropriate Use Policy
• Coordinate between the IT Council and other university staff providing support for desktop computing
• Propose short-term and long-term plans to deal with desktop support topics as prioritized by the IT Council
