University-wide Meeting Time

 

The Cabinet for Institutional Change's report to the campus, issued February 2010, recommended the implementation of a block of time to be set aside for shared learning and collaboration activities. This time period will be used for university-wide activities such as general interest lectures, professional development activities, plenary meetings for the Senate, and other university-wide interest events. When such events are not scheduled, this time will ease the coordination and inclusion of faculty and students at meetings and other university service activities.

A survey of all staff, faculty and students is being conducted. The survey link has been sent via email and asks for input about availability, support and perferences for this university-wide meeting time. If you do not receive an email with a link to the survey please email Gay Hylton at gay.hylton@humboldt.edu to participate. We anticipate having the results of this survey the first part of October.
