The Collegiate Learning Assessment (CLA) is a series of predesigned assessment tests where freshman and seniors are asked to analyze complex material at their campus. The goal is to measure the institutions value added contribution to the learning experience. (The freshman to senior testing is not done using a cohort.) The data is then collected and reported by the CLA for campus review where it is used to improve the learning experience.
