Applications can be hand delivered, emailed, faxed to (707)826-3625 or mailed. If an application is mailed, it must be postmarked no later than the close date indicated on the vacancy announcement. If a position is ‘open until filled’ all applications received by the first review date will be given full consideration, however, applications will continue to be accepted until the position is filled. On average, staff positions generally require four to six weeks to be filled after the initial close/first review date. Please Note: The successful candidate for a position at HSU is required to be fingerprinted through the Humboldt State University Police Department (UPD) or their local law enforcement agency. The cost of the fingerprinting is borne by the University. UPD offers Live Scan services Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
