Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect

Executive Order 1083 was issued and became effective on January 1, 2013, following the enactment of an amended state law called the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act on December 21, 2012. Pursuant to Executive Order 1083, every CSU employee is a mandated reporter under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act.
