A big thanks to the hundreds of alumni, parents, families and students who made their way to campus for Homecoming & Family Weekend. We had a great time and hope you did too. It was great catching up over campus tours, the Arts Showcase, the pregame festivities and, of course, the big game. The Jacks moved to 6-1 with their victory over Dixie State and we're stoked.

Scholarships Reception
Friday, Oct. 15, 2010; 2 p.m., The Great Hall, College Creek Apartments
Humboldt State students do amazing things. Whether they're reaching out to the community or engaging in cutting-edge research, they have a big impact, both on campus and beyond. That's why it's great to honor these students with scholarships to help them make their way through college.
At our annual Scholarship & Donor Reception, students had the chance to meet with the folks who make the scholarships happen. The afternoon was standing room only, as party-goers dined on delectable foods and shared stories about their times at Humboldt State.

Saturday was the big game and the HSU Jacks didn't disappoint. Not only was the Gist Hall parking lot full to the brim with fans for our tailgate and pregame fest, you guys nearly filled the Redwood Bowl to watch the Jacks route the Dixie State's Red Storm 28-3 and move to 6-1 overall in the GNAC standings.
