Hiring Opportunities

HEIF also hires students to fill positions outlined in proposals. Past and current student filled positions include:

  • HEIF Project Manager who is in charge of filing all reports, creating HEIF media, conducting outreach, tracking projects and other administrative duties.
  • Building Energy Interns who are responsible for recording and analyzing building specific energy use.
  • PV installers for the Old Music Building project.
  • Art designer for the art instillation accompanying the Old Music Building PV system
  • HVAC retrofit labor for the Sci D/E project.
  • Film crew for educational videos on bottled water
  • Interpretive sign creators for many of the HEIF funded projects.

To qualifty for a position, you must be a currently enrolled student at HSU with 6 units or more. HEIF offers job opportunities periodically throughout the semester so check back here often.
