Every year the Department awards numerous scholarships to outstanding students. Your donation can help support and sustain these scholarships. Please see the list of Department scholarships below:

Dillard-Bailey Scholarship Endowment - A2229
This fund provided scholarship for continuing HSU undergraduate and graduate Forestry majors who have completed a minimum of 12 units at HSU, and at least 6 units in HSU’s Forestry courses. Consideration given to involvement in Forestry related activities, academic, professional and civic related activities.

Edwin and Joan Pierson Forestry Scholarship Endowment- A2292
This scholarship is for Forestry majors at sophomore, junior, senior and graduate levels with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in overall coursework.

Helen Barnum Forestry Scholarship - A2253
This scholarship is for forestry majors at Humboldt State University with at least 3.0 GPA, and financial need

HSU Forestry Alumni Association Scholarship Endowment - A3008
This fund provides scholarship for undergraduate Forestry majors

Jerry Partain Forestry Scholarship Endowment - A2225
This scholarship is for continuing undergraduate Forestry majors who have completed a minimum of 36 units at HSU, and at least 12 units in HSU’s Forestry courses. Consideration given to involvement in Forestry related activities, academic, professional and civic related activities.

Mark B Rhea Soil Science Scholarship Endowment - A2282
Scholarship for advanced undergraduate or graduate students with an interest in soils science that have completed at least two upper division courses in soils.

Louis H. Wayers Memorial Endowment – A3003
This scholarship is for undergraduate forestry majors.

Norton Benner Forestry Scholarship Endowment - TQ062
This endowment supports scholarships for student who have applied to, be enrolled or accepted for admission to HSU as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Forestry. Students will be reviewed based on academic merit, financial eligibility, and professional or extracurricular experience and promise.

Rangeland Resources and Wildland Soils Scholarship Endowment-SJ287
This scholarship is for undergraduate rangeland resources and Wildland soils majors.

Robert Cary Forestry Scholarship Endowment - A2255
This is a scholarship for undergraduate Forestry majors.
