Backlit Thighs and Charcoal Eyes: the Dancers Corrina by Sam Kirby

I am interested in the ideas surrounding place, of home, and of soul. I am continuing to delve into the depths of the post-apocalyptic world. I had envisioned through my previous work. I want to convey meaning through visual symbols, such as architecture in disrepair, hopeful blimps and balloons, and further signs of human intervention within the landscape. I am finally considering the role of humans on this landscape I had created, through the notion of human hope following a time of trauma, especially what lengths people will go to achieve their goals - for good or for bad.
