My work explores ideas of change and its propensity to find equilibrium. It is chaotic in theme, content, and style. Solid shapes are slowly taken over by subtle patterns. Figurative animal heads are bombarded with geometric life forms while carefully layered brushstrokes are blotted out with cartoon graphics. My imagery is heavily inspired by comic books, skateboard graphics, and surreal and abstract compositions. When I combine this with the theme of time, I explore transience and adaptation. My paintings become a satire on how I perceive life. The result is an intricately balanced narrative that exposes itself to the viewer.
I was born in 1985. I live and work at a friend’s house.
