DESCRIPTION:A decorated photographer, avid mountaineer, and climate change
  researcher, James Balog is the founder of the Extreme Ice Survey (EIS), 
 the most wide-ranging photographic study of glaciers ever conducted. The 
 project has been featured in National Geographic, on PBS's NOVA, in two b
 ooks, and is now the subject of an award-winning documentary, Chasing Ice.
