California's Changing Places (Film)

Van Duzer Theater
The California Environmental Legacy Project:

California’s Changing Places

The California Environmental Legacy Project has produced a set of films that explore our past, present and future relationship with California’s natural environment. Narrated by award-winning actress Jane Fonda and with an original score by legendary musician Pat Metheny, the films present a monumental tale of colliding tectonic plates, the community of life, human exploitation, and reconciliation with nature. These films, executive produced by HSU professor Jeffrey White, will be featured on PBS and shown in state and national parks throughout California. The Changing Places documentaries were directed by HSU film professor David Scheerer. Astonishing videography and photorealistic 3D animations make this project one of the most compelling of its kind.

This event is free, but tickets are required.
