OLLI Centennial Series: "The First Centennial Project"

Join Humboldt State University Special Collections librarian Joan Berman to explore the relationship of Humboldt State University to the communities and places of Humboldt County as documented by Humboldt Room collections. She will be joined by key players in the stories.

This particular workshop will cover the book, "Humboldt State University" by Katy Tahja and a glimpse into how this project provided the HSU collections staff a crash course in organizing the university's historical photos.

STOMP

Van Duzer Theater
STOMP is explosive, provocative, utterly unique and appeals to audiences of all ages. The international percussion sensation has garnered an armful of awards and rave reviews and has appeared on numerous national television shows. The eight member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments—matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, hubcaps—to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms. As USA Today says, “STOMP finds beautiful noises in the strangest places.” See what all the noise is about!
