Van Duzer Theater
Internationally renowned pianist and distinguished educator Douglas Humphreys performs Franz Liszt’s Sonata in B Minor, noted as the composer’s most important piano work; Haydn’s Fantasia in C Major (described as a “madcap work of scintillating virtuosity”) and Schubert’s Sonata in A Minor, rarely performed because of its difficulty. “It truly will be a great event to hear an artist of this caliber play our new Hamburg Steinway concert grand piano,” said HSU professor Daniela Mineva.
