MultiCultural Center
Peer Health Education Program, Food for People, and the MultiCultural Center will be hosting a CalFresh workshop.

For the growing number of students on campus who need assistance with food expenses, there's the CalFresh Program.

CalFresh helps qualified individuals and households meet their nutritional needs through monthly electronic benefits. The benefits are used much like a debit card, and can be used at most grocery stores and farmer's markets.

Eureka Waterfront Sunset Paddle Tour

Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center
Celebrate the longer Spring days with a sunset paddle on Humboldt Bay. This tour will put in at the Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center in Eureka. There will be plenty of opportunity to view wildlife, paddle and enjoy Old Town Eureka from the Bay. Additional information will be provided upon registration.

Humboldt Circus Presents: Carnival of the Mind

Van Duzer Theater
"Carnival of the Mind" is in the John Van Duzer Theater on Friday April 26 and Saturday April 27. The show begins at 6:46 PM. Cost is $6. There's a $1 discount for dressing a "circus-y" costume or bringing a handbill to the door.

The show is preceded by a Midway carnival that begins when the doors open, at 6 p.m. The carnival will include games a sideshow and, of course, popcorn!

This Spring's show theme is "old tyme circus" bringing to mind the days of the big top, trains, elephants and the mystique of the traveling circus. "Carnival of the Mind" on April 26 and 27 will bring a mixture of creative expression to the stage, with acts ranging from black light juggling and poi spinning to giant sea serpents, pirates and a special recognition of HSU's centennial.

Proceeds support the Humboldt Circus.

The Humboldt State advanced Oral Interpretation Class presents: Outliers on Stage. Maclom Gladwells' "Outliers" is the 2012-2013 HSU and CR book of the year. Seating is limited.
