Art Night at the Museum

Time: 6:30 pm-8:30 pm

Description:

The HSU Natural History Museum invites community members to visit for Art Night at the Museum on Wednesday, May 8 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This is a chance for children, parents, grandparents, students, and artists alike to flex their creative muscles by drawing or painting rarely seen, beautiful, and bizarre museum specimens. Insects, skulls, birds and more will be brought out of the vault for you to examine and interpret with the artistic medium of your choice. Participants are encouraged to display their newly created works of art in an exhibit featuring the events’ masterpieces for the month of May.

Basic drawing and painting supplies will be provided for those who do not bring their own. Children are encouraged to attend with adult supervision. Standard museum admission applies.
