AS Presents The Wailers, Roger Steffens and DJ Dub Cowboy Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at 9 p.m. in the Van Duzer Theatre. Reggae historian Roger Steffens invites you to join him for an exhilarating journey into the musical history of the royal family of reggae, The Wailers, through an incredible multimedia presentation of Bob Marley and The Wailers Survival tour. The Wailers will perform the iconic Survival album in its entirety, with songs like “So Much Trouble in the World,” “Africa Unite" and "Ride Natty Ride.” The anchor of the band is Aston “Family Man” Barrett, who in addition to being Marley’s most trusted lieutenant, played on countless other classic reggae hits throughout the seventies. Opening the show will be DJ Dub Cowboy, the host of KHSU’s long running reggae program.
