Join the Leadership Education Adventure Program (LEAP) for our annual bouldering competition fundraiser. The theme is cape and cowl, so come dressed as your favorite superhero! There will be men's and women's categories for beginning, intermediate and advanced climbers. There will also be prizes for the top 3 competitors in each category. | 8:00 pm | Percussion Ensemble & Calypso BandVan Duzer TheaterPercussion Ensemble performs an intricate Balinese ritual-based work plus pieces by John Cage, Michael Udow and Lynn Glassock, followed by the World Percussion Group performing traditional Mandeng drumming of West Africa, using only indigenous instruments. Then the Humboldt State Calypso Band takes the stage with their high-energy dance music of Caribbean Carnival, featuring the Panorama steel band classic, “Pan in A Minor.” Eugene Novotney and Howard Kaufman conduct. |
