A Wild American Forest Film Screening
Time: 7:00 pm-9:00 pm
Description:
Join us for a screening of "A Wild American Forest," a film about the Klamath Mountain region and discussion with Susan Harrison, an expert on serpentine soils from UC Davis.
Harrison will share her current research in the Klamath—revisiting plots set up by Robert Whittaker in the 1960’s. The California Native Plant Society, NorthCoast Environmental Center, Humboldt State University Natural History Museum, and Backcountry Press are co-sponsoring the event in conjunction with the Geos Institute who funded the film.
Price: Sliding Scale $3-$5. Beer, wine and snacks will also be served.
