Delta Phi Epsilon is hosting the first annual "Deepher Dude" all-male mock pageant to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Come out and cheer on your fellow classmates as they compete in swimwear, talent, and formal wear. Who will be the first "Deepher Dude" at Humboldt State?

An evening of free music and art for the HSU and the Arcata community. Soul Release is designed to encourage and facilitate radical self-expression and total creative freedom. Featuring local artists and musicians along with live painting, craft tables and a community painting.

The Humboldt Bay Brass Band salutes veterans and the Olympics in its “Heroes and Warriors” concert. Selections include “Bugler’s Dream” (better known as the classic ABC Sports theme for its Olympic coverage) played on natural (valveless) trumpets, and the Colonel Bogey March from the famous film “Bridge on the River Kwaii” (with the audience invited to whistle along.) Four cornet soloists combine on “Bugler’s Holiday” by Leroy Anderson. Humboldt Bay Brass Band is directed by Gilbert Cline.
